Client and product
BauBau (baubau.app) is a construction platform for Austria, starting with Vienna and expanding through Austria before other German-speaking markets. It connects construction demand (construction companies, contractors, private renovators) with supply (workers, trade companies, subcontractors), then sells those companies software for problems they already have on site. Revenue comes from the software, not the listings. BauBau is a client of Kings Landing — not a partner or a company we own.
Website and search work
- Programmatic SEO at scale: page families for jobs, services, locations and salaries, across roughly 20 trades and hundreds of Austrian towns, plus all 23 Vienna districts.
- The rule we work by: a page is generated only where it has real, unique value — no near-duplicate pages, no pages for a trade in a place BauBau cannot serve.
- AEO: structured data, answer-first content and clear entities so AI assistants can use the content.
- German (Austrian) and English content in one multilingual database, using Austrian construction terminology.
- A salary calculator: the user picks a job, region and years of experience and gets lowest, average and highest hourly rate plus average monthly and yearly salary, based on Austrian collective-agreement (Kollektivvertrag) wage data.
- SEO decisions grounded in first-party data (Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog).
Migration in progress
- Migration of the website from Webflow to Ploy, using a reverse proxy so sections move one at a time while the live domain stays up.
