About the role
Kings Landing is a growth + development agency. We build apps and websites with AI-native tools and make them grow through search — in Google and in AI assistants. We are a small, senior team that works side by side with AI agents every day.
As AI Product Developer you build real products that real users depend on. You use AI-native tools to ship fast, and you take responsibility for what you ship: data model, permissions, testing, and fixing what breaks. You work on products such as Construction Diary, where a supervisor photographs a construction site and AI writes the legally required daily log, and on the TapTapp loyalty app.
What you will work on
- Construction Diary (diary.baubau.app): AI-generated site logs from photos, automatic weather data, company onboarding, budget tracking, an MCP connector for AI assistants, and the planned mobile app
- TapTapp: a mobile app that replaces plastic loyalty cards, and its website
- New web apps and MVPs for Kings Landing clients
Responsibilities
- Build features in web apps and MVPs using Lovable, Ploy, React/TypeScript and Supabase
- Design data models, authentication and permissions in Supabase
- Integrate AI features (LLM APIs, photo/document to structured output) and external APIs
- Turn bug reports and feature requests into clear, scoped work and fix issues reliably
- Test what you build, including failure cases and real-world use on phones
- Keep project context and documentation up to date so both people and AI agents understand the app
- Deploy releases and maintain apps after launch
Requirements
- Experience building web apps with React and TypeScript, or with Lovable
- Working knowledge of a backend/database such as Supabase (Postgres, auth, row-level security)
- Experience using AI tools to write and debug code
- You understand the code AI produces and can review and correct it
- Clear written English
- Ownership: you follow a feature through to working in production
Nice to have
- Experience with LLM APIs (Claude, OpenAI)
- Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol)
- Mobile app experience (e.g. Capacitor, React Native, App Store / Google Play releases)
- Experience writing prompts and context files for AI coding tools
- Product or UX sense
- Experience building websites or apps with Ploy
