About the role
Kings Landing is a growth + development agency. We build apps and websites with AI-native tools and make them grow through search — in Google and in AI assistants. We are a small, senior team that works side by side with AI agents every day.
As SEO Analyst you own the data side of growth. You find out why pages rank or don't, decide what to fix first, and work with developers and writers to get it done. You work on large sites with thousands of database-driven pages and multilingual content, and you help our clients show up not only in Google but also in ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews.
What you will work on
- BauBau: programmatic SEO across roughly 20 trades and hundreds of Austrian towns, all 23 Vienna districts, jobs, services and salary pages, in German and English
- SEO and AEO for the Kings Landing website and new client projects
Responsibilities
- Run technical SEO audits (crawling, indexation, canonicals, hreflang, redirects, sitemaps, structured data, Core Web Vitals)
- Analyze Google Search Console and GA4 data and turn it into a prioritized task list for developers and writers
- Plan and quality-check programmatic page sets: page templates, uniqueness rules, indexation and suppression rules, internal linking
- Improve visibility in AI assistants (AEO): answer-first structure, structured data, entity clarity, llms.txt
- Do keyword and search-intent research from first-party data
- Write clear, short reports and status updates for the team and clients
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Google Search Console, GA4 and a crawler such as Screaming Frog
- Solid understanding of technical SEO: indexation, canonicals, hreflang, redirects, sitemaps, structured data
- Ability to work with large data sets in spreadsheets
- Clear written English
- You prioritize by impact and can explain why
- You do not guess: decisions are backed by data
Nice to have
- Experience with programmatic SEO or sites with thousands of pages
- Experience with Webflow, Ploy or another CMS at scale
- Knowledge of AEO / generative engine optimization
- German language
- Experience using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) in daily SEO work
Tools
- Google Search Console
- GA4
- Screaming Frog
- Ploy
- Webflow
- Claude
- Google Sheets
What we offer
- Daily work with AI tools (Claude, Lovable, Ploy), paid for by the company
- An education budget for courses, books and certifications
- Fully remote work
- Full-time or part-time engagement
- Real, live projects from day one: BauBau, Construction Diary, TapTapp
- A small team where your work is visible and you talk directly to the people deciding
Hiring process
- Application — send your CV and links to your work
- Interview — a conversation about your experience and how you work
- Test task — a short, practical task based on the kind of work you would do with us
- Decision — we get back to you with an answer
How to apply
